Falls City Middle School 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students participated in the Eastern Nebraska Speech Contest. This year’s theme was “My State - What Makes Nebraska Great.” After competing in a school-wide contest, Dayton Snethen, Harley Sutton, and Madyson Eberle (6th grade division) and Ethan Boatright, Sierrah Vermeer, and Malesa Wickham (7-8th grade division) advanced to Omaha for District Speech Contest where Wickham’s speech won first place, earning her a trophy and cash prize as well as a FCMS trophy. She advances to State competition on May 12 in Omaha.
