The Newspaper Club is for South School students in grade 5. Students write and publish "The South School Paws," which is placed on the school website. This is their first newspaper of the year, and it is filled with news articles about South School, activities, and interests. Student reporters get to brainstorm topics, interview community members, research, take photographs, and write informational pieces. Students also get the opportunity to express their creativity by creating comic strips, artwork, jokes, and puzzles.
