Three times a year Falls City Public Schools completes standardized testing to measure student progress. We have begun to the transition from the MAP to the NSCAS test for English Language Arts and Math which is our state assessment. We continue to utilize the MAP test for Science. Falls City Middle School would like to recognize the NSCAS Champs and MAP Champs for our Spring testing period. At FCMS we recognize the highest scoring students in Math, English Language Arts and Science by grade level. We also recognize the students who realized the largest growth in scores from Winter of 2021 to Spring of 2022. Today we are proud to announce our 7th grade NSCAS and MAP champs for Spring of 2022.

Thomas Godemann: Thomas is our 6th grade Science MAP Growth Champion. He improved his score by 15 points.
Kenzie Mason: Kenzie is our 7th grade NSCAS English Language Arts Growth Champion. Kenzie improved her ELA score on the NSCAS test by 109 points from Winter to Spring.
Bowdy Jones: Bowdy is our 7th grade NSCAS Math Growth Champion. Bowdy improved his Math NSCAS score 87 points from Winter to Spring.
Miyuna Kong: Miyuna is the 7th grade English Language Arts NSCAS Champion. Miyuna scored a 2650 on her ELA test to capture the title.
Dayton Snethen: Dayton is the 7th grade Math NSCAS Champion. Dayton scored a 1397 on the test. Dayton is also the 7th Grade MAP champ for Science. He scored a 242 on his spring Science test.
Congratulations to all of our 7th grade NSCAS/MAP winners. Mr. Bangert will be buying them lunch for their achievement.
