On Saturday, February 22, Falls City Middle School took 4-8th grade students (Elijah Diltz, Collin Roberts, Audrey Scrivens, and Peyton Weddle) to the 42nd Annual SE Nebraska Chapter Math Counts Competition on the UNL campus. This is the first year of competing at this level. A total of 74 competitors from 10 schools participated. Four different testing rounds, activity, and awards followed. Elijah Diltz earned the top scorer award for our school.
Falls City Rec pancake feed will be Sunday, February 23rd, from 8 am - 1 pm. Come out and support our youth.
A big thank you to F & M Bank for supporting our FFA program. It was cold all week for FFA week. The group had a successful week with 4 late starts and will drive tractors to school next Wednesday, Febr. 26th.

Yesterday Ms. Eickhoff and Mr. Bangert visited Middle School to discuss high school registration with the 8th grade. All 8th graders now have an electronic copy of the course catalog and a registration sheet. We would like all registrations emailed to Mr. Bangert by Friday February 28th. At spring P/T conferences Ms. Eickhoff and Mr. Bangert will be doing a presentation for all parents 8, 9, 10 and 11 to walk them through the registration process. We hope to see you then!
Tiger Boys Basketball team travels to Fairbury for their final regular season game. The JV game will start at 5 pm followed by the Varsity game.
