
The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable is highlighting grapes in February. Grapes are a healthy snack because they are a good source of fiber, Vitamin C, and potassium. They are also 80% water so they are a delicious low calorie snack. For more information on grapes check out the attached information and recipe sheets.



The Middle School Marvel Rivals team won last night by way of forfeit in their first preseason matchup. Trinity Klein Lutheran MS out of Klein, TX, unfortunately lost power near match time and were unable to play. We also fixed the stream, so next week match should be viewable.
The varsity Rocket League team also competed last night in their Week 1 matchup against Milford, NE. They won the first game 5-2, lost the second in overtime 1-2, and lost the third 0-3.

FCCLA District 1 STAR Events took place at Peru State College Friday. Sarah Selleck and Caleb Zimmerman both received silver medals, and Brock Caudle received a bronze medal. Sarah will advance to state in April with her Focus on Children project. Congrats!

Our 3rd-5th grade ROARS jam winners for January were joined by officer DiGiacomo and officer Keller for a pizza party today. We are thankful for them taking time out of their busy days to join us. The students had a blast!

On January 27, 3 of our FCHS band seniors attended the UNK Honor Clinic for Band and Choir students! Sierrah Vermeer and Ruby Nguyen performed in the festival band under the direction of Mr. Beave and Gunner Lippold performed in the honor band under the direction of Dr. Bierman!





Congratulations to these Jr. High and High School students. They have been selected to participate in the Missouri Western Honor Choir in February.
