In the event a North School student is in quarantine due to exposure, here is the plan we will implement.
Regular Education Student:
- Classroom teacher will be notified that the student will be gone for an extended period of time Mrs. Leyden.
- Classroom teacher will provide daily reading/math instruction (via Google Classroom, Zoom or paper copies) during the time of student quarantine.
- Classroom teacher will communicate with parents on the best educational option for individual students. Parents will be able to choose paper packet or zoom based on the family's specific preferences/needs.
- Communication to parents will include, but is not limited to:
Communication of the classroom plan
- How will student be notified of assignments for reading/math?
- How instruction of new materials will be?
- How to turn in assignments?
- How to get assistance when questions arise on assignments?
Special Education Student (academics, speech):
- Follow guidance for regular education student
- Special Education teacher will collaborate with the classroom teacher to reach out to the parents and arrange services as outlined in the IEP.
We will follow the most current COVID-19 School Flowchart screening criteria for student re-admittance to school.

Falls City Middle School Boys Basketball will not have practice tonight or tomorrow. Next practice is Monday.

Falls City Public Schools Fall Parent/Teacher conferences will held on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Students will be dismissed from school as a 2-hour early release. This is a change from the regular schedule.
Teachers will be conducting parent/teacher conferences via phone calls and/or emails to parents district-wide between 1:30 - 6:00 on Thursday, October 22.

News Channel Nebraska will televise the Football game at Auburn on Friday Night. Pregame on at 6:45pm with a 7pm kick-off. Only way to come to the game if you have been put onto a players pass list.
