Falls City 8th Grader Audrey Scrivens won the Richardson County Spelling Bee 8th/7th Grade Division on Tuesday evening held at HTRS. Great job representing your school Audrey!

MS Boys Wrestling competed at the Nebraska City Invite tonight. Finished 2nd 🥈 as a team with 149 points. We had 24 wins (24 pins). The High School LoL team (1-2) defeated LCI Samurais 2025: LCI Samurai LoL (1-2) on Monday evening. LCI is a team based out of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. The win moved them to #22 place out of 36 teams. The team is very close to being 3-0 after tough losses in the first two weeks. Falls City High School students competed in the ECNC Quiz Bowl Monday in Mead. The varsity team of Seniors Ethan Boatright, Ruby Nguyen, Hayden Findlay, and Jayme Ewers took second place.

On Monday, March 10th, Falls City Middle School 7th and 8th grade teams participated in the ECNC Quiz Bowl competition in Mead NE. Pool play lead into tournament play. The 8th grade team finished 4th out of 8 schools. Congrats to both teams.

On Thursday, March 6th , Falls City Middle School students from the FCA and NJHS groups helped with the food distribution at Assembly of God Church. We love helping out our community.

On March 7th, the Falls City High School Band was recognized for the Excellence in Academic Achievement award by the NSBA! To receive this award, students in the FCHS band program are required to have a combined average GPA of 3.5 or higher. This is a fantastic accomplishment for the band program and we are so excited to share this success as a team! FCHS was one of 31 schools in the state of Nebraska recognized for academic achievement for the 2024-2025 school year. Keep up the great work Tiger Band 🎶🎉

The Richardson County Spelling Bee has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 11th at 6:30 P.M in the HTRS old gym. If your student is eligible & will be participating, please have them on site by 6:15.

Thank you Dr. Tara Gossman & ESU 4 for your continued work with our FCPS teachers as we move through the Math Acceleration Project! We look forward to continuing to learn & grow together as we implement our new Math curriculum.

During parent teacher conferences Ms. Eickhoff and Mr. Bangert will be doing a presentation on the course catalog at 4PM, 5PM and 6PM each night in the High School commons. This is for parents who will have students in High School next school year. This is a great time to learn about what FCHS has to offer academically and what your students have signed up for in the coming 25/26 school year. We hope to see you then.
